The eggs we sell are clean and unwashed, this means the natural coating protecting the eggs called the "bloom" remains on the shell therefore protects them from contamination, this also means the eggs stay fresh longer
Our eggs are gathered from the coops and placed directly into cartons and kept cool until delivery day. Size and colors of the eggs are inconsistent, this happen because some hens are young and lay small eggs at begining and pastured raised eggs can be quite different from the ones you buy a the store. Eggs with cloudy whites means the eggs are very fresh, blood spots on are completely safe and do not indicate a bad or soiled egg, you can removed them prior to consuming if preferred.
